Booking

How do I reserve a booking?

  • To make a reservation, a 30% deposit must be remitted to the relevant bank account. You will be given the account details via email. It will be returned to you within 2 weeks of departure following satisfactory inspection of the property. The deposit is non-refundable if you decide to cancel your holiday.

How/when do I pay the outstanding amount for my booking?

  • You will need to transfer the full amount to the same bank account 8 weeks prior to arrival. The details will be sent to you via email.

What are the check-in and check-out times and can we arrive/depart early/late?

  • Check-in is at 4pm. Check-out is at 10am. If we have other guests arriving or departing the same day then these times cannot be changed. If this is not the case, early check-in and late check-out is available at an extra cost of €50 per hour. Please check the availability calendar before requesting early check-in and late check-out.

Do you accept conferences, weddings or bigger events?

  • Yes we have had many weddings and other events at the villa. Please ask if you need additional services for this including catering.

What is the cost for more than 28 guests or special events like weddings or conferences?

  • Additional guests are charged at €50 per day and special events are charged an extra €1000 per week

Can I book the villa for less than a week, what is the cost and what are the changeover days?

  • The villa can be booked for less than a week between November and March (any changeover day of the week is possible during this period). During April to October the changeover days are at the weekend. If the villa is booked for less than a week the price is the weekly price divided by 7, multiplied by the number of nights booked plus an extra charge of €595.

Can we leave luggage at the villa before the check-in time?

  • Yes this can be done from 10am on the day of arrival. The cost is €200. Please note we do not accept any responsibility for lost luggage or lost items. 

What is included in the rental price?

  • All bills including utilities, rental, cleaning, linen, towels and indoor pool heating. Please note the indoor pool is only heated between November and March. There are no additional costs unless you request additional services.

What currencies can we pay in?

  • You can pay in GBP or EUR. Please note there are separate accounts for EUR and GBP and payments must be made to the relevant account. If you are paying in GBP we will agree an FX rate on the day you want to make the booking (this will be the fixed rate for both payments). Please note that if you pay the deposit in GBP (at the agreed FX rate) then the final amount must be paid in GBP at that rate. The dposit and final amount cannot be paid in different currencies. The amounts payable are agreed in the signed contract.

Is it possible to reserve the villa until we pay the deposit?

  • No unfortunately we operate bookings on a first come first paid service so we cannot reserve the villa until the deposit has been paid.

Is there a discount for repeat bookings?

  • Yes. Guests that book again will receive a 7.5% discount from the previous booking.

Is there a security deposit on arrival?

  • No, the 30% deposit paid when reserving the booking is the only deposit.

Additional services

How do I book any additional services including master chef, maid and masseuse and what is the cost?

  • All services except for the master chef is booked with us using the same email address as the booking of the villa. If you require the master chef his email will be sent to you separately so you can communicate directly with him. Please specify what days and time you would like these services and any specific requirements and we will arrange this for you. Payment for the master chef must be made in cash before the end of your stay. Any other services must be paid for in advance along with the rental amount. If you require additional services during your holiday please make sure that these requests are sent to us and not our staff on the ground so we can arrange this directly with you and agree a cost.

Where do i find the best car rental or transfers?

How much does the master chef cost?

  • This depends on the number of guests and type of food. We will give you the master chef's contact details so you can communicate directly with him. As an indication it is usually around €25 per person for the food and €25 per hour for each chef. It normally takes around 10 hours for shopping, preparing, cooking and cleaning up.

Do you offer any supermarket shopping services before arrival?

  • Yes we have many guests that would like some food/drink essentials on arrival. We offer 3 packages. Items and costs of these will be emailed to you on request.

How does the fully stocked bar work?

  • This is charged per bottle and there is a price list at the villa. We sell all main spirits, beer and wine.

Sports

Are tennis, badminton and table-tennis rackets and balls provided?

  • Table-tennis rackets and balls are provided and are in good condition. Tennis/badminton rackets and balls are also provided. There are enough rackets for doubles. There is a also a basketball and football.

Pools

When is the indoor pool heated and to what temperature?

  • The indoor pool is heated from November to March at a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. The pool can be heated to a higher temperature at a cost of €100 per degree during your stay. It can also be heated during the other months at a cost of €100/day.

When are the pools cleaned and chlorine added?

  • The maintenance person comes weekly to clean the pools and garden. We suggest you don’t swim in the outdoor pool for 2 hours after he has added chlorine. Our representative on the ground will let you know what days during the week this is.

Transport/directions

Do we need a car?

  • Renting a car is highly recommended. Please see above for car rental.

What is the nearest airport?

  • The nearest airport is Malaga that is a 20min drive from the Villa.

How far are the nearest shop, restaurant, beach and town?

  • The nearest restaurant is El Potro that is a 15min walk from the house, supermarket is El Coto (20min walk), beach and town is Fuengirola (10min drive). There is a map at the villa showing these locations.

How do I get directions from the airport to the villa?

  • On the website under directions tab.

How far is Marbella and Puerto Banus?

  • They are a 20min drive from the Villa.

How many car parking spaces are there at the Villa?

  • There are 3 spaces in the private garage and 3 spaces on the private outside car park.

Facilities

Are linen and towels provided?

  • All beds will be made with clean linen and each guest is given 3 towels upon arrival (small, medium, large). These will not be changed/cleaned during your stay unless requested at an additional charge.

If we want to request extra cleaning or a maid how much is it?

  • A full clean of the villa including changing of all linen and fresh towels is €499 and must be requested via email to us before or during your stay. We also offer a cleaning service at €20 per hour including transport and chemicals. 

How many beds are there and how many people does the Villa sleep?

  • Master Bedroom: 1 double bed
  • Bedroom 1: 1 double bed, 1 single bed
  • Bedroom 2: 1 double bed
  • Bedroom 3: 1 double bed
  • Bedroom 4: 1 double bed
  • Bedroom 5: 2 single beds
  • Bedroom 6: 1 double bed

Can the double beds be split into singles?

  • No unfortunately not.

Is there wireless internet?

  • Yes and there are 2 laptops at the Villa. You can also connect using your own PC.

Do all bedrooms have air-conditioning?

  • Yes all bedrooms have one air-condition unit each.

Is the bar fully stocked and how do we pay for alcohol?

  • There is a pricelist in the villa for all alcohol and it is paid for in cash upon departure. There is also a excellent wine list and draft beer.

Are there cots & high chairs in the villa?

  • Yes there are 2 of each. More can be rented at a cost of €10/day.

Is there wheelchair access in the villa?

  • There are a few staircases in the villa and unfortunately there is no extra wheelchair access.

Where are the guest apartments and do they have separate access?

  • The guest apartments are on the ground floor (same level as the garden and are accessed via the garden). They are separate and next to each other with a separate entrance each.

Cash points and taxis

Where is the nearest cash point and do Taxis take credit cards?

  • There are cashpoints in Malaga airport but the nearest cashpoint to the Villa is located at each roundabout on Av. De Mijas road leading up to the house. This is a 20min walk so we suggest you carry cash since taxis do not accept credit cards.

Other

Do you have floor plans of the villa?

  • Yes we do and these can be emailed to you upon request.

Can we have a gathering in the garden and play music?

  • Yes we have had many weddings etc in the garden and music can be played to midnight. 

Can the bunk beds be changed to either double of single beds?

  • No the bunk beds are 2 singles.

Can you add extra beds if we are over 28 people?

  • Yes but these will be fold out beds and the cost is €20/day per bed.

Who do we contact for any questions and emergencies during our stay?

  • Once you have booked the Villa you will be sent a confirmation email with all relevant contact details needed. These will also be in the welcome pack at the Villa. Our representative will come and meet you at the villa upon arrival.
